I have been seeing many of you talking about the bed rug and not going to lie I think they are super cool.

My truck just had line x premium done with the OEM Toyota mat on top I like the idea of a rug thou. But scared how it will hold all the salt water during the winter months and rot out my truck bed. I am a long term type of owner (10 years etc) so have to think of it this way anything i do to truck
    what are your thoughts?

Unless if you’re going to place some adhesives under the bed rug… checking under it every week shouldn’t be too bad?

Are you keeping stuff in your bed at all times?

Edit: Oh man, sorry I misread your post thinking you said bed mat…

If you’re planning to do something like that with a tonneau, it’s probably good to take extra precautions and seal up all holes.

I plan on doing the bed rug but I plan also to add a bed cover so the salt in the winter months should not hurt anything.

Yeah I have bed cover but since box really is not fully sealed I think its not going to be smart to add one in the salt belt.
