    And 3 different sizes!
It's a pain in the ass changing the oil on the Tundra.
Why things couldn't have been designed to be simpler to maintain is ridiculous. Dreading the day the starter needs to be replaced.

Kinda the same boat here 'cept my washers alway stay with the bolt. Clean 'em up, smear a dab of Permatex grape jam gasket sealer and torque till she breaks, back off quarter turn and filler 'em up with synthetic dinosaur blood.

Anyone ever had any bad experiences with a Fumoto valve (or any of the others)? I’m so tempted to cut the skid plate and put one on…. I’m getting older and getting under the truck isn’t as fun as it used to be….

You still got the get underneath and process is same just cleaner.
Here a great video. I won't put a fumoto valve on. I don't see much benefit other than having a cleaner oil change. I however am using the aluminum oil filter housing with the drain valve as that makes it much less messy. Cutting the skid plate saves you a lot of time, which is in my opinion the minimum on convenience improvement.

I use the MotivX drain valve on all my Toyotas. Same concept as the Fumoto but a little more straightforward to me. The oil flows down the tube straight into my drain pan. No gloves needed to stay clean.

    No I'm a 4x4.

I use the MotivX kit. Skid plate stays on, I drain the oil with the drain hose form the filter through one of the holes in the skid plate - I just route it through. And I can wrench the filter off coming in from the side.

If You Don't Off Road just take the skid plate off.
