With current inflated prices, I’m surprised that they are only asking $55k for it.

Curious that someone puts that much money into a rig and then unloads it. I really don’t care how people spend their money, but the previous owner had a goal in mind. Was the love all in the chase?

Might think about it if it wasn't white. 10k in add ons is conservative I'd say.

    Too many, but not enough....
15k minimum. 4k in bumpers, 1200 sliders, 3k wheels and tires, 1500 racks, at least 1000 lift, 2k minimum on the cap plus lights, snorkel and prolly other things we can't see.

OK. I'll bite. What's with the snorkel. Is it in the same category as a pinstripe performance package? If it is an addition that is functional, why would anyone want a vehicle that's been 90% submerged?:monocle:

Someone poured a lotta time, energy and money into a tastefully upgraded rig. The late model year 2018 and the mileage lead me to think the owner built this for show more than overlanding.
Its setup to work as an overlanding/ camper or I suspect a work/service vehicle hence the mileage.

Either way $54k in this market for a platinum with a minimum of $15k in upgrades is quite the steal.

Divorce. Death. Having a baby. In over their head financially. Medical expenses. Needs money for ____. People off vehicles for every reason under the sun, and then some. On Expedition Portal, fully stacked Tacomas are a dime a dozen, and I swear half of them boil down to a "change in direction".

Not usually a vehicle that has been submerged since to do that you need to do a lot of other engine bay mods, add breather tubes to your drive-train etc. But, it does bring the air intake up higher and out of the dust if you are running in dry places. Ideally that gets you cleaner air into your filter

In print that sounds reasonable I guess. Would have thought that today's induction systems were designed to draw cool, clean air from a point as close to the front of the truck as practical.

That truck is probably someone’s dream of “I’m going to do awesome stuff” and then realized they drive to work every day and have to take their kid to baseball on the weekend. Like every raptor I see driving to work every morning all done up and then a guy with a tie on driving it to the office. I only say this because I’m in my dolled up truck with my tie on and it kills me a little bit every day. I should be driving a Corolla if we are honest.

I would say probably more than 15k in upgrades based on personal experience...I might get a snorkel. Cant decide....I'm on my 3rd suspension, blacked everything out, more BD lights than I can count, Up top overland rack and C4 bumper. I have a bed slide and cap pack inside the topper. I'm also on my 3rd stereo upgrade...295 tires and powder coated rims. Just added a two channel dashcam. this is the whatever makes you happy truck...never owned one before and love it.
