Somehow I knew you'd chime in with the specifics

I think your avatar is supposed to show there? Your avatar still comes up for me.

It's on-and-off for me, and in multiple browsers, on a MacBook and a PC.

One of the best parts about coming home after a few days away is opening up all the goods.

My $38 battery tester (MSRP $600) arrived while I was gone. So did my new IH that'll work w/my existing Bosch batts. Had another cheap electric guitar come in too (not pictured, needs cleanup).

Elbows up, side to side. Tell @Darkness you got the PRO-Factor. Congrats, I'm jealous.

Ah, does he also use Bosch? Had to choose between the 770N and 740N. Opted to go 770N, found a deal where it's 20% cheaper, seller only had 3 left.

Will hafta give it a go in the next couple of days. It's heavy as hell. Weights way more than my Dewalt, like 1.5x or more.

He might, the PRO name was just a silly reference to an unrelated thread. We were way of topic and marketing or names came up.

But I am jealous, that battery tester is awesome I hope and I want a cordless impact.

Ah! I remember that. And yeah, I don't love the name. But seriously, like I'd said before, I've used about every brand from 9v to 20v, and my Bosch driver in this 18v family line has been one of the best tools I've ever owned. I'm hoping this IH is 80% as good as my regular drill, that'd leave me ecstatic. May end up getting a larger sized battery pack for it, will see. Wish they made a cordless butterfly impact.

That's not going to work if I fill the tank and allow the backpressure to prevent further pumping by kicking the handle clasp loose. The gas cap will just cause the handle to further pump.

I've always had mine auto-release, even with the cap wedged. Same as a standard. On all of our vehicles over the last 15 years (about 8 total), not including rentals. But your situation may be different somehow.

Okay, then my understanding of how the gas pump kicks off is faulty. o_O

Dunno what to tell you. Friend of mine showed me the wedge trick probably 25 years ago when I was working for a lighting company retrofitting 8ft light fixtures on the ceilings of grocery stores. He'd do it with the POS G-20 van we drove everywhere with trailer in tow. That's when I started doing the same, any time a pump nozzle had the little lockout mechanism removed or broken. I've never had it keep pumping once the end of the pump was submerged in gas.

It's my understanding there's a sensor in the tip of the handle that (when submerged or soaked?) triggers the handle to override and stop pumping, regardless whether you're holding the handle or something else is.

I want whatever kind of crack them fuckers at Spotify are smoking. Why on God's green Earth would I "save an ad." I don't want ads that's why I have premium.

    Screenshot_20220220-164316_Spotify.jpg

The only ad that I personally would save is the yellawood commercial from like 2014, but I keep that mf locked in my brain anyways.

This one from 8 years ago.

My wife and I took a quick trip to NYC. What an overpriced shit hole. It was our first time. Actual trash everywhere. Homeless people laying in their own piss. At one point I almost threw up in the subway platform. Crazy people walking down sidewalks and yelling at who knows what. I have no idea how people live here. And the subway was sketchy as hell.

One positive thing I will say is that most people were very nice and the food is great.

Oh, and the 9/11 museum is incredible. I highly recommend it unless you can't handle crying in public.

I would agree if the added weight wouldn’t make the rear fenders cut into the tires. Anything more than the table saw he already has in the back and he’s sol.

I do think lowered and tuned / stiff suspension makes sense on the Nascar Truck Series, though...
