How to replace footwell bulb above parking break?

Bought a VLEDs interior kit. Last bulb to do. For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to remove the old one.

 

I used some needlenose pliers and pulled it...knowing I was replacing and likely not to touch it again, the ROI with this method worked for me...

 

Wrap the bulb with some scotch tape/duct tape and then just try to yank it out. I forget if you're able to pull it out from the back...

 

Reach behind the plastic and you can turn the bulb socket about a 1/4 turn and it’ll come out from behind. Then you can easily pull and replace bulb.
