    Pretty much.

Nah. I'd just finished stirring the pot. I was in a good place.

    Precisely. :)

    Stolen cat update..
Went to the dealer to 'check' on my truck today.
Actually went out back and found it to make sure everything was good, and it was.
Battery dead, as I knew it was, hell, it's been sitting 3 months.

My service guy is hoping my right-side cat will come in by the end of the month.
    Got the left side mid-December.
When I dropped off my Tundra on 11/16/2021, they had 7 Tundras waiting for cat parts.
They now have 22, a few of the Sequoias.
I saw them all lined up in the back of the lot..

Toyota is going to cover my rental/loaner, and they are giving me a new battery.
I told them I wanted my current Interstate back, it isn't that old.

    That's wassup.

    Happy Saturday night..

Spend the afternoon with mine and my brothers family at a gourmet hot dog joint for his birthday.

    6F12A375-E2B3-4AF4-94D1-2DCC89EFF2F4.jpg

(Left) Italian sausage, spicy brown mustard, sliced provolone, broccoli rabe, scallions.

(Right) Duck sausage, brown gravy, sautéed mushrooms, breaded fried cheese curds.

I am not a hot dog fan, so I picked sausages. Absolutely met and exceeded my expectations.

Note to self: @biebs96 likes a greasy sausage and the gravy that comes with it.

We drove out to downtown Austin today to the Yeti Flagship store. I should have taken some pics but I was pissed about the traffic so I was off of my game. Anyway, they have a bar and instead of bar stools, they have Yeti coolers to sit on. We were buying a birthday present for a friend that Mrs. Bandito works with - prices are better at their store than at most places.

After finally getting through traffic to get out of Austin (I really like the city, just can't stand how hard it is to get to into and out of it), we had to swing by a HEB for a few groceries and I was reminded why I love Texas and HEB. How many grocery stores have their own BBQ restaurant?

    IMG_0836.jpg IMG_0837.jpg
What isn't pictured is the banana pudding - I ate that before the meat arrived. It was some good damn pudding! I decided to splurge on a Mexican Orange Crush. The brisket was great, the coleslaw was perfect, and the mac and cheese was so freaking cheesy...

I hope they'll open one of these at our local HEB.

The local samich joint, and delicatessen, and butcher, and meat processor makes their own pickles…….. my oh my!!!! They make their own jerky too!!!! Sausage shop, for all the locals, and they make a mean samich at lunch with all their meats!!!

that bark on that brisket is worthy of a phone call to the local animal control!!!!
I’m sure it’s a different situation in texas, but I don’t trust many seafood of bbq places here in town. Haha the Mexican joints get cased HARD!

Yeah, I don't hit any of the local joints around here that often. I think there is one food inspector for the entire county...

When I was in Honduras, they told us to be careful about eating outside of the base. I was scarfing down some chicken wings at the base food court one afternoon and when I got to the last wing, I noticed it wasn't cooked all the way through. I had travelers diarrhea for a month. I'd do my radio show and program "Hotel California" and "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" back to back, run out the side door of the station across the street to the outdoor latrines and shit my brains out for 30 minutes. Then run back to the station, go on air, say something witty, program another 20 minutes of music, and run back to the latrine. I finally had to go to the base hospital and was so dehydrated they had me on IV fluids for at least an hour.

Anyway, I don't care to go through something like that again so I'm very careful about where we eat out.

Honestly hate that for you but it does make me feel better about getting cat plates. I didn’t want to spend the money but I’d be screwed doing without my truck for 3 months.

Oh my God! I owe you a steak dinner or something. Your cat story is truly what sold my wife on the Valhalla Shields! I feel bad for you that you can't get that cats 4 your truck. It's terrible. Your loss is my gain! Thank you for being such a wonderful salesman!

I gotta say I appreciate all those posting about their 2022 problems and issues.
Makes me feel better about wanting to keep my paid for 2014 for several more years.

I've had the check engine light come on twice in 7 years.
Once I didn't tighten the gas cap all the way....
The other time was driving home without catalytic converters....

I think I'll be good when I get it back and get my Valhalla’s Shields on.

That's EXACTLY why I'm keeping my 2015 paid for Tundra that I'm perfectly happy with, and YOUR cats are the reason MY Tundra is waiting on the Valhalla Shields. If you haven't ordered them yet you may want to. There is a delay in getting them.

I wish I could sort my feed so all the threads about how much better the 2nd gen is than the 3rd gen are down near the bottom. The 1st Gen is infinitely superior to the 2nd Gen anyways. I think the 2nd gen guys are just butt hurt that a V6 has more power and torque than their big V8.
