Question Before I Go back To Dealer

I just picked up my 22 Limited TRD Off Road Tundra.

Long story short I ended up leaving the dealership after 5+ hours and didn't get to look at the truck in the day light.

This morning I went out and looked and noticed my spray bed liner wasn't installed and the TRD Off Road package skid plate wasn't installed.

My question is... is the TRD Off Road package skid plates the same gray w/ red TRD logo that the Pros have or is it something else?

I assumed it would be the gray metal w/ red logo skid plate but that could be an incorrect assumption.

Any guidance before I go back to the dealership and look like a fool?

The standard TRD OR skid plate is not the fancy white and red one.

As for the spray in liner I thought it was done at the factory. Maybe the dealer has to do it and it hasn't been done yet.

I think only the Pro comes with the metal skid plate, the stock TRD OR one is a plastic one

I believe the bed spray liner is an additional option, if it was included and wasn’t sprayed than you have a major concern. As far as the TRD skit plate no models that I know of come with it installed.

Ah, okay good to know. Shame it is a plastic one but all good. As for the spray in liner, yeah I'll need to get in touch with them about that. Someone dropped the ball.

Does your Monroney sticker has non skid spray in Bedliner under optional equipment($579 option)? If it does. They owe you spray in bed liner. The OE spray liner also suppose to have the Tundra badge.

Does your build Sheet include the spray in bed liner?

The sticker does not but the build sheet does.

That bed looks sick! 100% not what mine looks like.

Here is what my bed looks like and the plastic skid plates I guess that are indicated on my build sheet?

If the sticker doesn't list it, then you didn't pay for it at least. The dealer probably requested the option but Toyota declined it for some reason. That happens all of the time in my region when I "preference" trucks for customers.

Ah makes sense. There was so much on the dang sheet that I honestly just over looked it last night.

Ya I think you’re SOL, start looking at aftermarket options. There’s probably better bed liners out there anyway. That factory liner is like sand paper. It’s going to scratch anything of value by the feel of it.

This is what it looked like on my build sheet. To be honest, I don't really care for it, way too rough!

The TRD front skid plate is an optional accessory. The skid plates mentioned in the TRD OR package are the composite skid plate on the fuel tank, etc. So you’re only missing the spray-in bedliner. I think that’s done at the factory.

the spray in liner is definitely done at a facility at the factory, so nothing the dealer can do now except make sure you didn’t pay for it. Maybe try to get her to toss in the bed mat for the error. Enjoy your truck!
