What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Installed Katzkin leather covers, and since I was at it added heated seats too!
Really pleased with the results!

 

Your head unit brightness should have nothing to do with DRL’s - I don’t even pay attention to my HU brightness difference between day or night but any IP or radio brightness adjustments should only be impacted from the ambient light sensor in the center dash speaker grill.

 

Uponce finishing my oil change and resetting the maintenance reminder, I went into the maintenance app on the Entune radio and was disappointed to discover that it’s for setting reminders, not logging maintenance. Booooo. Guess I’ll keep tracking it with the others

Probably an option under daylight mode if I remember correctly.

 

The head unit should dim with the parking lights turned on, not if it's just the DRLs themselves.

Added black badge overlays. Ordered the full OEM set from Toyota and didn't realize it also came with two SR5 overlays and a 4x4 overlay which I don't need. Anyone need them?

Did the meso kit, but decided to keep the brushed silver since I think it breaks it up nicely & I'm never going to put in the $$$ to fully black out the interior. Really just trying to stop getting blinded by the truck's interior.

If u want to get rid of the black meso around the shifter that you kept silver I'd be interested. I wrapped mine and the cupholder. I'm not 100% on my wrap job but have kept it bc it don't look horrible. Let me know, shoot me a pm if you do, thanks.

So had trouble starting truck this morning. Brand new X2 battery and it took 3-4 turns of key to get the truck started.

correct me if I am wrong, but should not have this issue with a new X2 battery, correct?

 

Battery post connections are tight.

Starter was going but engine not turning over

 

Left truck parked outside last night so it was cold ~20-30 degrees, but wouldn't have thought that should be an issue for this battery

I didnt realize those just went on top of the chrome badges....seems a little easier than removing the chrome ones!

 

Used the app to add in my maintenance record. Reviewed all the previous maintenance as well. PO had some infotainment and climate control issues. Haven’t had any issues since purchasing so guess they got it sorted.

contact them and ask them. It sounds like there is an issue with the wiring harness, similar to the recall with the blinker lights being dim due to wrong pin locations ( conflicting currents ). You got the DRL module with the kit?

 

I’ve had an AGM for a little while and one day it barely could start the truck due to low voltage as seen on the stock dash voltage gauge. Never happened since.

I recently installed the GM diode because I read on here that it’s better for charging AGM with an additional 1/2 volt. Now it’s charging in the 14.x volt range instead of 13.x. Who knows if it will stop that issue from reoccurring in the future.
