IMG-1626.jpg IMG-1627.jpg Why doesn't anyone talk about DESERT EAGLE , are they bad , or banned, I don't see any discussion about them? Not looking for problems or ridicule, just asking. They make a great CAT ANTI-THEFT PLATE.

I bought one about 15 years ago chambered for .44 Remington magnum. It's a nifty platform but you cant hunt with it in Pa so it's a toy.

They only make a front cat protection plate to my understanding and its a bit costly for just that. Many folks have bought from them and I haven't seen issues. But you have 4 cats, if you are going to get plates to protect them, you might as well protect all of them. My 2 cents

Right about the front only, but for 330.00 with shipping, powder coated ,and had it in 3 days was my main reason, and I just went to sheet metal place and picked up pc of mesh 18"x52" and bolted up for rear area. Super easy bolt up ,took me 10 min to put in.

I have the same cat converter plate but when it was made by OR-FAB in Chino Valley, Arizona. I have had it for years and have had no issues.

    Alot of them
@Bucks04, So Desert Eagle used to work for ORFab before they closed. He started making these when they started becoming a need a couple of years ago. He only offers a front plate, and it is the same one that the dealers get as he makes them for them. The dealers do significantly mark them up though. He is on FB, just not here in our forum. He also makes alot of Jeep products....bumpers etc. I have his front plate as it was the go to product before Tyler came aboard from Valhalla. Tyler is here in the forum and offers a rear plate, therefore increasing popularity as you can get a full set of front and rear, and even an engine skid plate. His rear plate will work with the DE plate. In short, nothing wrong with the DE plate at all. If he had a rear plate, there would be some competition I bet.

Thanks @Tundra234 I wasn't sure his front would work the the Valhalla rear so I didn't address it. Glad to know you can combine them.

Thanks for the info Tundra234, just wanted to be sure they were ok . When I ordered mine he said been doing for awhile and no one ever seemed to need a rear plate because front seemed to keep them away. But I took care of my rear ones anyway. Thanks again.

I have a DE front plate as well. I got from my friend at a dealership. No issues other than covering the front cats. For people that are very concerned and need a quality pc plate in a pinch, this is a very viable option.
