Have a used unassembled set of adjustable Bilstein 6112 (46206084). Tried to clean them up a little, could use a good cleaning with some elbow grease

Located in Columbia, Missouri asking $250

I ended upgrading to the Toytec Aluma (Elka) 2.5/2.0 during the Black Friday sale.

I contacted Bilstein to see about getting 8112 and I was told the 6112’s wouldn’t hit the production line until end of 1st quarter 2022. Good luck finding any for awhile

I was going to send these 6112’s in and get them revalved so I could use them on our 200 Land Cruiser. Then Bilstein said they don’t accept rebuild/revalves in house anymore and it’s outsourced to down south motor sports. I decided I’ll go a different direction with the Cruiser

I had a local shop disassemble the 6112’s to and look them over. They said 6112’s are in great condition, but the top hat bushings were shot. You can see a new bushing vs the old:

I have been waiting for my Bilstein 6112's for almost 3 months. I have the rear shocks already, but I am looking at alternatives for the front. I like the Eibiach 2.0, and price is comparable to the 6112's and they are available also. I will take a hard look at the Toytec, just sucks that I have made the decision to switch AFTER all the Black Friday sales :-(

If you keep the 5160’s Bilstein, Eibach, and Icon are digressive valving. It’s my understanding the Toytecs are progressive like Fox/Kings. Something to consider if you want to keep the 5160’s

I really like the Toytec 2.5’s, they ride great. Long term reliability, we’ll see. At least they are rebuildable and there are more local options vs the Bilstein 6112’s that require a higher skill set to rebuild/revalve

IMO, it’s hard to beat the 6112’s performance to price ratio. Definitely an awesome setup for the money, if you can ever find a set in stock
