how it started vs how its going

i am having a blast with this build. I need to remove the badges and stickers as well as darken up the brake lights. roadmaster suspension for rear has been ordered and I might tint the windows to match the rears but I think the exterior is pretty much what i was looking for. and I will add some LED lights and a small winch bumper. I work for a dealer group and I bought this for 5k under market value from an auction knowing the CAT was stolen. im so smart I googled it and came up w $800 for an aftermarket CAT....end of story 3 CATS, 4 oxygen = I didn't save a dime lol

 

Looks great. I agree you should debadge, will make it really sleek. Got any pictures of the front end?

I don't get why people do this?

If you are not proud of your vehicle buy something else maybe.

Irritates me seeing some vehicle go down the road and I can't tell what it is and it has no badges.
Bugs me for days sometimes.

Also yes tint your front windows.

Personally, I hate most running boards, they all look awful to me.
First mod I did was removing mine.

AMP powersteps fixed that for me. Love these things!

Sliders are ok if you are doing serious offroading, otherwise, madmax much?

The reason a lot of guys debage is it’s a pain detailing around the emblems. I’m anal. Lol and I don’t like to clean around them. The detailer I know he has a lot of customers asking him to debadge there vehicle before he does it.

 

I am not opposed to blacked out badges....i am going to take them all off and may replace a couple with black ones. I have so many little projects to do with this truck its crazy! I need a good front pic now that I have the new LED headlights
