Whole video is ok. He said it took an hour to remove the front grill and rear chrome. That was not knowing how to do it.

    https://youtu.be/YFQZNa1h5Jc

My wife hates the front grill because of how big it is. She says I should leave the chrome instead of going gloss black, because it breaks up the grill some. The rear I may do in black. Or I’ll hold off and go color match as the aftermarket grows. Like you said the chrome is growing on me as well.

The 30mm rear spacers for the Land Cruiser 80 will work. Dobinsons sells them. Part #PS59-4007.

Gonna be keeping an eye out for bed stiffeners, as it sounds like the plastic boxes flex.

No problem! I think the red matches the start button red and other interior red accents in my Sport more than it does the TRD bed decal red, which seems to be a darker shade. Doesn't bother me enough to switch it out but I would consider "Cardinal Red" if the aim is to match the bed decal.

If anyone would like to confirm fitment of my Billet Tie-Downs on their ‘22 I would be glad to offer a discount. They should fit fine, but I need to confirm before listing that they fit on my site.

I saw on IG a guy installed some 1.5" Sequoia rear spacers to help him clear 37's in his 22'. Said the fitment was tight but it all worked out. He then confirmed fitment of some Fox 2.0's from the rear of a 19'-21' Ram fit with minor modification to help with the OEM shocks being too short. Good option until specific shocks start hitting the market.

How does it look in person did you do measurements? Level? It looks high in the front based on picture. I’m about to do a 2” and do not want that Cali rake or squat or whatever these people are doing these days.

Drive way slightly slanted. I took some measurements. Pretty dang level if you ask me. If anything, needs another 0.25. 2” would probably be perfect.

For all of you bed mat enthusiasts out there, just got word from Black Armour that their mat is available now - checked the website and it’s up for the 5.5 and 6.5 bed. Definitely will be purchasing one of these but I still don’t have my truck, so if anyone snags one please post pictures/feedback!

Cool. I'm going to have to see how they compare to the Toyota one, the pricing is pretty close.

Rockymounts LoBall Track, 2 mins to install seems very stable.

Looking at the Husky website, they don't list the tundra under 2022 so that's a no from Husky. Probably the same for weathertech. I heard from some people that they are liking the Toyota weather mats. here in Canada I believe the all weather mats come stock with all trucks, so if they are decent I may just stick with them for the time being. Personally, knowing myself and what i do, I most likely will switch to the Husky X-Act liners before winter and waterfowl hunting season.

The OEM all weather mats are pretty nice. The best OEM ones I've had. I'm in Canada and just a note for the group, it did not come with a spare set of regulat carpet mats...unless they're underneath lol.

That's odd, they should have come with carpet mats also. Mine did.

mine came with no mats, but I specifically told them I didn’t want the “premium carpet” ones. I just walked over and picked up the all weather from the parts department.

Someone posted a pic of their truck with Heretic LED amber lights retrofitted in the foglight wells and added an additional light bar underneath where there's a rectangular slot. Is that person on these forums and if so could you share some pics?

I still have like new spacer lift and factory suspension parts from my 2020, I wonder if the Icon Stage 5 setup will fit a 2022. The spacer lift looks the same???

I ask because I still have all factory parts from upgrades on my 2020 and may replace them all including front and rear bumpers and take the trade offer of $52k on my truck for a 2022.

It would be really cool if the Icon Reservoir shocks would fit, they are height adjustable in the front with a spanner wrench.

Key Fob remote start has nothing to do with any subscription get close to vehicle and press lock button 3 times and it will start.

‘hopefully in 2022’s they changed it so it doesn’t turn the truck off when you open any of the doors. Terrible design in 2.5 trucks. Should be like most manufacturers and depressing the brake kills the motor
