So I bought a kit of complete interior LED lighting from VLEDs for my 2018, 1794 Edition. It included several bulbs I’m not sure actually exist in the truck.

Among them are for the 4 doors. I don’t see any lighting on the doors, and if I go back to their site and read closer, it looks like it is for the 07-13 Tundras, but was offered as an option for the interior kit specific to the 2018. I’ll return those.

But their site also lists the glove box and they included 2 LED bulbs for that…and it doesn’t list years on their site. I don’t see any bulbs anywhere in my glovebox. I’m not missing it right? It’s not maybe burned out in there and I’m just not seeing it?

Just making sure I’m not doing something stupid or not seeing it before I return these.

My 2015 Sequoia has the door lights. They're on the lower corners and come on when you open the doors.

Pretty sure no one has lights in their glove compartments...

You pick your options when building the kit. Why did you select lights for the doors?

2010 was the last year for door lights in the Tundra. I added my own when I had my 2013.

Yes it’s an option as I said. I didn’t see that year reference. I don’t blame VLEDs at all for it; just making sure it’s my misunderstanding. I do think they need to design their site better though…if you’re asked for the specific year make and model and very specific trim, it’s pretty dumb design to list options that can’t be used. They’re also listing the glove box and that doesn’t apply either.

I’m thinking I might do that too. Where’d you put them in? Any photos?

The 2013 had reflectors where the lights used to be so it was easy. The issue now is that the 2.5 gens don't even have reflectors in the door panels.
