Not sure what you are referring to. I'm assuming you mean the rear leaf springs? The rear leaf springs have a pyramid looking block above the leaf pack. its attached with the ubolts that go around the rear axle and leaf pack and sits on top.

this picture is with a 5100 strut and a 1 inch block between the axle and the leaf pack but otherwise yours should look similar:

the sumo springs would replace the bump stop on the top of the leaf pack

Can one run sumos and Roadmaster Active Suspension together? I think room wise there is no issues. Sumos do little to nothing for axle wrap.

I'm not sure why it looks like that, its dry though, looks like that all the way around and has since I bought it. Not sure if it is some kind of sealer from the factory?

You sure can. I added sumo springs a couple of months ago, got my RAS installed yesterday. The Sumos are so tall, I was almost touching the frame on the driver side, and was only about 1/2” off on the passenger side. I got the HD RAS, set at the higher of the two recommended starting settings (40%?) when installed, and now have about an inch and a half clearance above the sumo springs. Funny to me that, even though I had only maybe a quarter tank of gas when the shop installed the RAS, they managed to set it so that the driver side and passenger side are perfectly even with each other after I filled the tank up.

I did the sumo springs myself (very quick and easy) and was going to do the RAS myself, but I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get the shackle out back together - it was still under considerably more load than I expected when I went to take it apart. It only cost me a couple hours labor to have the RAS installed, so I’m not too upset over that. Would rather have the $ in my pocket, but, hey, them’s the breaks.
