Futura trailer deliveries

Has anyone tried ordering a Futura SuperSport car trailer lately? Are they really backed up at the port? It seems like orders on ships but unloading has been delayed by over two months. Can anyone else corroborate?

 

I tried to buy one from Autoquest in FL, they say they usually get 7 a month, and while current month was full (Nov I think) there were open spots for December. I ended up scoring a used one because I needed it to go to VIR in November. If you are near FL, try Amy at Autoquest.

 

Nice! I’m in California so I am stuck with the backlog at the port of LA. Apparently things are really bad there.

 

They say they’ll start using Port of Oakland to ease the bottleneck ($&@! Show) that is port of LA at the moment. I cancelled my order anyway. I’m thinking of going with a rollback trailer - simpler mechanism might hold up to outdoor storage and rough towing better like atv and mowing equipment.
