Picked up my 1794 today.....No sound from radio or phone

Not sure if they forgot to do something in the pre-delivery process or if I have a defective unit. Any help would be great. Dealerships in PA are not open Sundays to call tomorrow to inquire. I tried to reset everything and reload my phone, and still no sound from anything on the unit. Pretty frustrating I finally got it after such a long wait and delay for this to happen right out of the gate.

 

It might be something as simple as a connector that came unhooked. Let's hope so. It would suck if you need a new head unit. I hope it's something simple..

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I hope it's just a connector.

 

They sent me a bulletin for PDS instructions and it seems someone pulled a fuse incorrectly or was never installed from the factory correctly.

 

I am glad that fixed it. Good deal.

 

What is a D/C cut fuse?

 

A D/C cut fuse usually powers a relay in the vehicle, some may have more than one. During transport the fuse will be stored in the vehicle and not installed to prevent battery drain. With all the electronics in modern cars and trucks there’s probably one that powers the head unit/screen because it’s a potential major source of battery drain over an extended period of time.

The fuse should be installed by the dealer as part of PDI.
