2022 Tundra Platinum

I bought my first truck ever, a platinum Tundra (with AVS). I don’t know much about trucks but it does feel like it could use a lift and wheels. The dealer told me they don’t have any options and won’t for a long time. Should I just wait until something comes available from the dealer? Or are there options that won’t sacrifice the AVS utility that I could add now? Also, how large of a wheel/tire can I get away with on the new body style?

Check out westcott designs. Not sure if they have the AVS kit yet but their builds are solid

How did you get the shortcuts down the left side of your screen? I've searched and searched and can't find any way to do it

 

That's exactly the truck I was originally looking for (Plat mgm) before I realized no TRD OR. Great looking truck - the MGM and that dark chrome look cool together

I paid 62307 msrp. It came with tech package. I also got window tints a free safe and all weather floor mats. Central FL. If you want my dealer I’ll hook you up with his info

That’s the CarPlay Dashboard screen, I believe. I’m often in the app list (screenshot) or the fullscreen app mode in CarPlay. If you hit the white box next to three white dashes button (bottom left of screenshot), it puts it in dashboard mode.

This is all assuming I’m remembering how my phone works on my wife’s car at 6am.

I really like the tires and wheels on that color in the platinum trim. Which dealer in CF did you buy from?

 

Yes, I prefer the black interior to brown/white on the 1794. Those two are the only trims that have a digital gauge cluster too, besides the Pro. But the Pro has a bunch of missing features like: softex seats, no digital mirror, no HUD, no motorized steering column, no memory seats, white headliner, etc.

 

That is a good looking truck. I love my 20’ Platinum but this one when set up equally will look better. Congratulations! I just cannot give up my v8 sound but the look and the refined interior sure is tempting.

 

How does the piped in engine sound with the Jbl. Does it still make noise if your radio is off?

 

Just make sure not to test drive one since you love the last gen. Once I felt the difference I knew everyone has been hating on it. It feels and sounds more powerful. When you feel how light it is vs gen 2 it’s a game changer.

You can still hear the roar with music on. What’s cool is you can control the iforce sound dependent on how you hit the gas. If you want the truck to fly it will fly
