Bed rugs

Anyone make there own bed rug? Surly there has to be a more affordable option the buying on pre formed…but is it worth the hassle…

Hard to beat a nice molded BedRug,

 

I’m in NC, just north of Charlotte, I agree the molded ones are pretty nice!!!

 

What’s the feeling about these? I had never heard of them before, until I started researching tonneaus, and many videos had bed rugs in the trucks. Do they slide around or bunch up when sliding stuff in? Is the attachment method secure?

 

They are worth every penny. They attach with 2-sided Velcro and it has zippers to make it one piece. If you have a spray bed liner, you need to use an adhesion promoter.

It is much more than a carpet. Mildew, water, and stain resistant. Cleans up with hose. Also has a foam type backing that is weather proof but makes it comfortable to be on your knees.

Easy to install, saves your bed from gashes, and helps cargo not slide around. For the price that you can resell a used one and the way a ding free bed makes a truck sell quicker- there really is no downside other than upfront cost.

 

What is your cover and lighting set up with this bedrug? Looks great!

 

Ok, Tks for the info - gonna have to look into it as an option for 3rd gen when it arrives.

This is high up on my list of mods

 

Cover is a BAK Revolver and I used some 6” VLEDS lights inside on a switch that lets the lights come on when I open the tailgate.
