When I reverse, I notice an orange blur on my passage side and only had it for a week. is this normal?

that's a hard no. Take it in. looks like either a camera or wiring issue, or maybe it just needs an update because the head unit is reading the signal of the camera, but something is going screwy.

No, it looks like a camera lens that’s been covered with dirt or snow…several instances of it have been shown on the forum.

There is a simple way to settle this: Mikey1793 go wash the camera and let us know if it goes away. If it's still there then it is a camera/wiring issue and we can save ourself pages of back and forth about whether it is dirt or not.

Yes I don’t think it is either (see quote below), but it’s a quicker/less painful road than to argue back and forth about whether it is dirt or not.

This has come up on the forums before. Is it intermittent and only happens on the first cold start? Does the camera behave normally after cycling the ignition?

Had the same issue, once, at -15C. I'm sure the mardi gras will be back.

Could have something to do with the the door. That looks like it could be a result of the door being open (or truck thinks it is). Both my Ram and wife’s BMW do similar things when a door is open and the 360 camera is being viewed

@Mikey1793 have you been tested for some type of colorblindness, per chance? That blur is far from orange.

When you take it in, do your best to leave with it! Bring it back when whatever part they need comes in. Toyota is being absurd in sending parts to dealerships for the 22 model. I'm in week three waiting on a simple part and it hasn't even been shipped yet, with no timeline available.

@ryanwgregg nothing as yet. I schedule last week but miss the timeline due to work. Toyota in my area told me that it has to be brought in before 12pm so they have time to see what is the issue. My plan is that if it happens again, which it will, I will drive straight to the dealership so they can see in person even though I have pictures

Is it mostly the rear camera? Up until yesterday that’s the only one I had an issue with but then my right side camera started doing the same. 703DF20B-D158-4A25-A42D-4122A8A479CD.jpg

@FortMacTundra mine is still only doing it on the rear and only seems to happen when the temp is around 50 or below. Finally have an appointment with my dealer next week.
