Beauty. When I come visit, you can mix me up an Old Fashioned.

 

A specialty. I think it was one of the first drinks we had to make.

 

It's my favorite cocktail. One of the local BBQ joints makes a smoked version.

 

It's crazy how far drinks have come since I took my class in the early 90's.

That's really cool. My big thing back in the day was throwing the bottles around. Never really had the chance to do it at work because the bottles could only be about a 1/4 full or everybody watching would get a vodka shower. Every now and again I'd work a flip in and get an "oooooh".

 

We can probably work in a wet t-shirt contest. A friendly warning though, I'll give you a run for your money.

 

Our city is great at “fixing” pot holes right before it rains, with hot tar and gravel.

 

NY does it in the rain and doesn't even take the water out of the hole.

 

Always liked a bartender who would put on a show while they worked.

 

I used to keep the mixer strainer on the edge of the bar so when I needed it I would tap it with the tin and it'd flip onto the top of of the tin, then strain. People seemed to like that. But yeah, much better when the bartender seems like they are enjoying themselves.

I worked a New Years Eve at a party bar and the other bartender called in sick. I remember the band carrying beer up from the basement for me between their sets and I'd be making drinks while calling out to the waitresses and telling them how to make them too. That was the craziest night I'd ever had. Loved every minute of it.

 

Oh you and the dr definitely have me beat

Been to north Idaho huh? They literally have a sign on the road I take to work that says rough road because of the pot holes and frost heaves.

 

We definitely have more than our fair share of potholes here. They raised my taxes again this year the want us to drive on shit roads.
