Anyone with a February build getting pushed back? Waiting on a platinum with a 2/15 born date. Haven’t heard any delays but curious about other folks.

yes. Initial build 2/9 and as of the other day it was 2/16. According to reports Texas is down to one shift instead of two due to COVID.

Had a blk Plat 1/10 build slip to 1/24, to 1/26 then built on 1/28. Lands at dealer in Nashville between 18-23 Feb.

Same as me. Original build date was 1/25 pushed back to 1/27 and was built 1/27. Delivery ETA is 2/17 in Tampa.

I'm new, so please forgive me if this has been covered. How are ya'll getting build dates? My dealer said they put my order in on 12/3 and they said they have no updates on ETA. They said once Toyota picks up the order they'll get a sticker that they'll send to me but they haven't gotten it. Sound right?

Your dealer should have an internal system that shows their inventory both unbuilt and built which shows progress in-between those stages as long as an actual truck has been allocated to them.

Maybe that's the issue is there's not one allocated......They just told me to go to the site and build what I wanted and put them as the dealer. Then had me print my build and send it to them and they just responded back a few hours later telling me it was ordered. Since then they have just said they don't have an ETA.

Thank you for the response. I'll check in with them about the allocation.

Might be it. No dealer can “order” anything either.. essentially you are putting a deposit down for first right of refusal when a build similar to yours comes in. It may not be identical but close. When it’s allocated it’ll show up in the application that they use.

Very interesting....They didn't make me put down a deposit either which I found odd. I assumed it's because we use them for all of our service and have purchased from them in the past but still found it odd.

I think a lot of dealers are trading with each other for trucks that other customers want. As they are allocated if that make sense. I had the same question as how do you know the build dates.

that’s exactly how it was with my build.. the dealer traded an on-lot platinum for my limited. I’ve bought from them before so they have been great. Still have to pay a small market adjustment

My dealer just had their allocation completely canceled. Was bummed, they were expecting my hybrid potentially on it. COVID factory shut downs slowing production
