Dude, EVERYTHING about interfacing with Verizon is way more difficult than it should be. Trying to open a trouble ticket with them when their stuff is jacked up is so infuriating. I really think it's by design because they are just hoping you give up and go away.

 

It is weird, but one time it actually helped me out. Booked a flight and hotel, and forgot the car. Targeted ad came through email "would you like to add a car to your trip?" Creepy, but uh, yeah, I actually forgot to do that. Thanks, I think?

We hit the mute button the instant we realize what commercial it is. Can't stand his voice.

 

RoboCop on AMC was pretty bad for that. "One time, I even called him an airhead."

 

I used bleep in the general sense, just muted the word cream from the grease lighting song. As in "makes the girls cream".

 

The mold issues in our school. It literally grows on walls IN classrooms, air duct vents, ceiling tiles..... one teacher's room was literally wet from a water leak in the walls. She had mold on a lot of her furniture, school supplies, etc. The maintenance crew downplayed it. The administration at District level instructed our principal to call it "dirt" and told her staff to say the same due to the backlash on social media. This particular teacher took mold tests and showed analysis results to the district to which they replied the results could've been duplicated anywhere. She's spent thousands in medical bills.

She's also not the only staff member, or child for that matter, to have physical ailments due to mold. Our school nurse sent repeated reports of unsafe health conditions to the district and it fell on deaf ears. She quit and is now working for another district.

Yeah this makes me mad......

 

And this is why we have a litigious society. Bureaucrats won't do their damn jobs until somebody levels a lawsuit at them. I'd be a lot more than angry.
