    I have a Line-X spray liner.

I’d like to use a BedRug most of the time but be able to remove it to use just the liner on occasion.

can it be installed on top of a liner? And is the floor rug fairly easy to remove and put back in?

Yes. It’s attached using Velcro stuck directly on the liner. You may have to get that special wipe they sell specifically for Velcro to adhere to the liner.

easy to remove and looks good. Mine is a 21 TRD pro with factory spray-on liner.

Since the spray-in liner isn't smooth, you're obviously going to get water under the rug. Not going to directly hurt anything, but you might eventually have a mold & mildew problem. Of course, fairly easy to scrub off those surfaces, so even that isn't a big issue.

    Working on it
I use mine , only mine all zipped together so I was able to remove wheel well covers and front area and just using bed area and tail gate , very easy on the knees. Only velcro needed was on top section of tailgate.

It is a Rug so it is made to be on top of the finished floor.

My understanding is that if it’s your truck you may do as you see fit.
