What a bummer. He will go far if you technically work for who I think you technically work for.

I feel like I should be buying boxes of Russian 6L6 tubes for guitar amps before Russia and NATO enter into a military conflict.

That shit will be even harder to get than now.

I'm interested in this. I had to jump off the kid next door's g/f this weekend and would've preferred not to pull the truck out to do it.
Yeah, no. I'm a CAIG advocate. At minimum, use CRC. Nothing else.

    Yup, this ^^

Bro, I'm not calling you skeered, but don't be afraid to grow, it's a step just like stairs ... just step u.

If you need to ask, "what are the top 3 things I need to worry about", don't hesitate. They'll understand. It's critical you know: We've ALL been there. You just have the benefit of youth on your side.

At least one of the ones in these tests are capacitor type.

My grandparents have had one of these for many many years. If I remember correctly it has zenith components in it as well although different exterior styling. Now days their flatscreen just sits on top of it. Messed with it about 8 or so years ago and it was still working for the radio anyway. Never messed with the record player though.

The front end of the new 23 Sequoia looks tons better than the front end of the new Tundra. That is all. As you were.

I've got a Noco GB40, it usually needs a charge every 6 months or so. I've had it for maybe 5 years never had to use it on a vehicle but it's worked well on a couple UTVs, my tractor, and I used it in a pinch to break a rusted winch free.
    https://no.co/gb40

For an air pump I just throw my DeWalt in the back. It's got a backup 12v connection if the battery dies.

    Last night was "so hard"

So the plant air was off when I got to work. I reset the dryers first and then the compressors. We all did a walk through to make sure everything was good and all the lack of air pressure faults cleared.

After that we all sat in the office for about an hour and shot the shit. Dayshift filtered out and I was leaving with them when the manager asked me to stay with the guy on this shift since his shift buddy is out sick. So I stayed...

Beaux and I watched hickok45 on YT on the company Puter for a few hours. He turned out the lights in the office and declared that it was nap time. "Ok."

He sawed logs for a few hours while I waited for a maintenance call while Watching YT. No calls so I woke him up when he asked me to. We went out to do a few pms and then it was my turn to nap. I snooze from 1:30 ish to 5:00 ish. Bout the same amount beaux snoozed.

Can't believe that I used to work every day getting my ass handed to me every time I'd turn around. I do miss how fast the nights would go by, but on the other side of the coin... I worked there 4.5 years and it felt like 6 months.....

I've worked here since December 20 and it feels like I've been here a year. Relative...

But, what kicked the compressors in the first place?

A guy Monday night was trying to find the correct breaker for a machine he was working on and got frustrated so he just started turning breakers off all willy nilly like.

He eventually turned off the main infeed for the whole plant. He didn't bother to reset anything once he had the power back on. Yesterday on days was a slow day for pms so minimal production. Everything that was running was able to run off of the giant air tanks in the compressor room.

So when production ramped up tuesday evening, they drained the air tanks and then they were down again while they waited for the compressors to catch up.

That guy that turned all that shit off called out last night. Cough cough. Which is why I got some OT

Don't get me wrong, if I were a younger man, I'd be interested, but 16'll get you 20 and yuck at the thought.

So now Toyota's trying to ripoff the GMC Arcadia, eh?

All that empty freeway and you're only going 45?

Not sure if this is a pity button that dumps change for panhandlers, or a party button that strobes lights and extends the stripper pole.

but it took me less time to change the cabin filter, than to figure out how to change the a/c fan speed.

i love the engine, but i hate this car.

    Duly noted.
I wonder if this is related to how many people I pass in the winter when we actually get that stuff.

one winter I was driving out 76 to Erie, pulled into a gas station & the p-brake wouldn't pull up. Good thing gas stations are flat, I just left it in gear.
Saw a Caddy dealer down the road, so pulled in & asked if they could lift 'er up & check-see what's up. Turned out everything down under the front end was caked up in ice including the P-brake. Guy took a hammer to it & sent me on my way. Stuff sure does get wet/icy out Erie way.

Yup the lake doesn't make it easy. 90 runs right along a ridge near the high point of the county so the entire length in PA gets hammered with Lake Effect. You can go from sun to a white out in 3 minutes.
