I believe i'm staring at a cam tower leak and was wondering when i'm fixing it, hopefully this summer, if anybody has found a A/C compressor clutch replacement.

As New England salts roads and salt tends to eat (dry out the lubricant) bearings (tensioner, idler, etc) i'm wondering how to replace the bearing on the A/C clutch.

I've done tensioner and the idlers, but wondering about he A/C one.

(lost one once on ford that almost left me stranded 4 hours from home).

Anybody ever found one of this independent of a compressor assembly?

(sorry about he picture quality it was 6 degrees in the garage )Truck oil leak.jpg

Thanks you for the advice. Everything under the truck looks terrible in pictures but really isn't too bad.

I need to take the advice i found yesterday saying to spend 35 minutes or so just staring at the engine and write up a wish list and evaulate all the lines. (my cooler lines, brake lines, etc)

Also, thank you for the compressor information. I well see about sourcing a clutch assembly/bearing when the time comes.
