Hell yeah!

I have a little shorty I use in the shop sometimes, was also road fodder picked up along the way. The RR tracks down the road from me always seem to cast off interesting stuff, had some good road scores the last 20 yrs.

But the little Snap-On I found needs a rebuild. The lever pops free on it. I need to get off my ass and do that one of these days.

 

Every car I’ve ever owned has been a great investment! I never sell them!


I’m a fringe case but I’ve yet to lose a dollar on a car I’ve sold.

 

Replacing rear shocks/springs and I had to drop the axle a lot to get the taller springs in. I noticed the driveshaft slip joint pulled out a little bit.
I can't take it out of park yet or I would try and spin the driveshaft.
Anyone know how much length there is on the splines?

 

About 2 months in after getting my m endorsement, I was on a side road that merges into a main road with a yield sign. I just saw my gf go by on the main road and wanted to catch up to her. This stupid fuck face in front of me was yielding to fucking nothing so I got impatient. I was gonna shoot between him and the median and I guess I had too much throttle and not enough clutch. I shot around him and went straight into oncoming traffic. Pretty sure I was on one wheel for most of it. After letting off and getting back into my lane, I promptly 100%ed it to gtfo there. If someone had been coming I woulda been a stain on their windshield. It was a real eye opener for me.

Shipping with UPS, Fedex or USPS lately sortta feels like gambling to me. Your just hoping to break even and not lose anything.

 

Nature being nature in the yard. I absolutely hate squirrels, I had a shit-eating grin on my face while it got picked apart.

 

Who knew our trucks were built perfectly for lugging around crowlers?

I rotated tires today and while I had the rears off I adjusted my clicky clicks, at first I said I was only going to do two clicks on each side, but then I said no let’s do 3. So I put the tires back on and feel no real resistance from the brakes. So I said eff it and got out the carpet again and probably got another 7-10 clicks before I heard a new dragging noise so I stopped. I’ve yet to test drive it, so I’m excited to see the results as I thought I had them dialed in pretty well prior

 

The only SC brewery I know of is Westbrook and those don't look like their cans.

 

In other news, they found a way to unfuck the front bumper on the Turd gens. This looks great.

 

Might have a trick for your drivers armrest. You can take the cover off both sides and swap and turn them upside down. It will make the side that faces up the one that looks and feels new. Learned it on mud when I had a hunnid series.

 

I don't think they figured out this part yet

 

Aware of that one, but on my truck, it puts the zipper is almost 2" further forward, which pesters my elbow.

 

This specific brewery makes a plethora of fruit sours. I normally don't dig on sours, I'm solid in the IPA-when-not-too-cold and stout-when-its-friggin-cold camps.

 

Westbrook makes some solid beer. This is from 8th State. If you're a beer dude and ever hit Greenville, holler. I can offer some recos.

 

1. Needs to be black.
2. Why does everyone put those anchor points such you can't push anything with your bumper.
Steel bumpers are for protecting your truck, but they're also for pushing sh*t.
Can't push sh*t when you've got two spears on the flat plane.

 

I saw a few other pics and it's not like that. Must be a shadow in this one. It looks nice.

Naw. That's a project truck for a guy Dad knows. I offered my services but he declined. Thought it'd be neat to wrench on one of them. For bragging rights I spose.

Anyways, I'll change my wipers when I run out of rubber on the blade. Werks gud

 

I actually ordered new Bosch wiper blades today. I mentioned before that these blades I have now we're on the truck when I bought it 6 years ago. I've been so impressed with them I ordered a set for the RAV4 last year. They aren't cheap but 6 years is crazy. They actually still work fine but they have gotten loud recently.

 

Do you have those sweet RAV4 blind spot mirrors? I love them on my Tacoma. Almost want to buy a RAV4 now. Maybe I’ll wait and take my dad’s 2000 someday when he decides he wants ev only.
