    Hi -

I'm new here so welcome all. I need a little help here...I have a 2014 Tundra Texas Edition with LT275/60R20 tires. The walls themselves say 65 PSI but I've found conflicting info online. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

What is the question? Once that is clear, any specific info as to the make and model of tire will likely be helpful.

I would inflate to what the door jamb sticker says regardless of what the tire says. A little more maybe (10%) but not 65...

All right, let's back up. What are the exact tires you have on your truck? Give us the size and load range you have on it.

Sorry, saw the size in first post so missed it.

What is the exact brand of the tire on your truck?

I would be under 40 psi on any tire with my Tundra

    35 front
    38 rear

Even if the tire says 65 PSI?

All right, so I have to be honest..... I am not an expert, but I have never heard of a Baja Champion tire from BF Goodrich. I believe you probably have the all terrain ko2 more than likely. Those tires have a maximum PSI of 65, so you do not want to be riding around at their states maximum. I had a set of those tires in another truck and I ran them at 35-42 PSI depending on the situation.

I know factory tires on the Tundras have recommendation of 33-35 if I remember correctly.

    Do they look like this:

One more thing, this all started with the tire pressure warning light coming on. Might I assume the light will go off if I stay under 65PSI? Thanks in advance. This is a major safety issue your helping with.

the pressure to load is different when talking your d rated tire compared to a c tire. 30 psi have a different load rating. u need to run a little higher for the same weight rating. look at this calculator

That is your max load capacity. The only reason to run 65 psi is if you are pushing that max capacity.

I run my load range E tires at 37.

Good lord....I run 65 PSI on my 3/4 ton diesel with E rated tires. There is no way you should have that for an unloaded Tundra. I have 2 wheel sets for the Tundra, both E rated and run them at 40 PSI.

36-40 PSI is a great starting point. The 65 is max tiring rating. You’ll never want to put that in unless you’re hauling 30 cattle behind you. The pressure light comes on based on the setting which is probably around 33.
