    My BD S8 main leds won't turn on. The amber backlight works. I'm hoping it just blew a fuse?

    Have you… checked the fuse? :D

    My guess would be that. Or the relay took a shit. Or a loose connection.

    I will be looking at them tomorrow. I noticed it on the way home after test driving the Alcans. The switch lights up when you turn it on so it could be the relay. I was messing with another light bar connector yesterday. The 2.5 gen is alot more sensitive to electrical stuff than the 2nd gens.

    Mine did this for a while. I had bad connections from the switch I was using at the time. Are you hard wired to an individual switch or using some type of controller?

    good news is you can count that green wire out since it’s working. Check those other two now

    It's wired to an Air on Board switch.

    If you have a multimeter check the connector that plugs into the light.

    IIRC:
    Black = ground
    White = power for main light
    Yellow = power for backlight

    That way you rule out the light or the harness.

    Could also take the light off and run some test wires directly off the battery to see if it’s the light bar.

    It's all.good. Nothing wrong with it. When I was messing with some lighting the other day I had a switch that was getting warm so I unplugged the relay. I ended up unplugging the one for the S8....not the one I intended to unplug lol.
