So I have a 2019 Crew cab Limited non TRD 20” rims, stock height. 80% asphalt with 15% dirt road and 5% off road. I’m looking for a tire that is quiet on asphalt, good in snow that does not look like crap. I would like to see wear north of 50K.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

i did a ton of research and picked Falken Wildpeak AT3. the are 3peak rated for snow , not very loud and look good without being a chunky mud tire

Ran Hankook Dynapro ATM’s for years. Great wear, great in the snow, and more affordable than most alternatives. Has a nice aggressive sidewall as well.

I'm in roughly the same boat as you and I went with Toyo AT3's. Getting them put on next week.

been running mine for the past couple of months. after going through a set of Goodyear Duratracs and then on BFG KO2's for the past few years i was blown away how much better they handle snow. Unless something better comes up Toyo AT3's will be the only tire i'll be buying moving forward.

I am going to go against the grain here…

And suggest the Michelin Defender LTX.

80% of the time (road) they will be far superior to any AT on the market. In the categories of, but not limited to, handling, comfort, smoothness, quietness, tread life, rain performance, ice performance, light to moderate snow, consistent performance through thread life and lastly predictably in emergency situations. For large snow storms or blizzards there are better choices however I have never not gotten home in a blizzard.

In the off-road department I have limited experience however I have done many icy/muddy trails during hunting season without issue but of course with minor sliding. And check out TacomaWorld, there was a guy the did serious off-roading with I believe was an E rated LTX MS2 (old version). With that said they are not the best in mud and will need to use 4x4 as a safety measure in wet grass and such…. But they still grip.

I want to pre apologize for my next comment OP :hattip:but after my years of driving it’s an important conclusion. Does it really matter what the tire looks like? Or is it more important to get you and your loved ones home after taking evasive maneuvers to avoid a serious crash? Different tires have there place with out question but like many Tundra owners it seems you are on the road mostly. And you be much better served by a road tire when on the road and surprisingly during certain inclement weather situations as well…

I've read a few articles saying a lot of tires from Asia these days are garbage and unsafe. I have some first hand experience that comes to same conclusion. So I won't be buying asian tires any time soon (china, Thailand, Vietnam) and my recommendation to everyone is avoid them.

Been happy with my KO2s (USA!). they are more on the off road side of all terrain spectrum though so probably not the best fit for what you want.
