Yesterday I picked up a 2005 DC 4x4, it has 285/70/R17 KO2's with about 2/3rds tread left.
The shop i bought it from didn't know much about the tires, they look to be in good shape but do have some weather checking (small cracking) between the treads so I was wondering if there is any number's on the tire that would indicate how old they are?

yes next to DOT will have the date.
Only on one side of the KO2s. I believe white lettering side.
