Hey guys. So...I'm needing to replace the drivers door window regulator and window run channel (seal) on our 2004 Toyota Corolla. The window has had some issues ever since we bought the car used about 8 years ago. I guess there were some common issues with the window run channel on these cars and I don't think it was ever replaced.

The drivers window always went up and then tilted forward when it got close to being fully closed. The seal is all kinked now and it also messed with the window regulator. I got the new regulator today, but I'm having issues tracking down the window run channel seal (part# 68151-02081). I've called 2 local dealers and both told me that there are none available in the US. It doesn't appear to be discontinued, just on backorder.

I can't really fix the issue w/o having that seal. I know I can try a salvage yard, but it sounds like part of the seal is on with some adhesive from the factory, so I'd probably end up damaging a used one when I try to remove it assuming it's in good shape to begin with.

Anyone know of other options or places to look for this situation? I've tried Google, Amazon, etc. without any luck.

    Thanks.
