2014 Dash display

Hey all-

Does anyone know if this smaller display is customizable?

My wife's 2016 4Runner has an option to display temp, current mpg, miles to empty, and the odometer - all on the same screen. On my tundra sr5 entune premium I've got to scroll through all 6-7 options to get that info one at a time. Just a little annoying.

Is there a setting I can adjust or mod (for simple idiots like me) to have temp, current mpgs, odo, miles to empty display at the same time?

nope, you're going to have to keep scrolling. Only thing really customizable is changing the screen on the HU to 2 pane or 3 pane and displaying source, weather, phone, nav at the same time

Anyone running the 3 pane display with weather? How much data is that eating or is it unnoticeable?

 

Hey guys. Just another quick question - I've been seeing guys post "mileage photos" in some of the threads when they hit 30k 40k etc., and noticed that some displays will show the odometer and the temp in the small line at the bottom. This is in addition to whatever "scrollable" info or screen you display on the main screen.

Each of these trucks looks to be a 2015+ model. Trim level varied. Anyone know if this is a "software update" or limited to the newer hardware?

If anyone with that display could post a pic to this thread that would be helpful. I'm having a hard time remembering where I saw the photos.

 

The weather app on entune downloads through HD radio so you won't notice any data usage on your phone.
