    Needing some input from everyone.

    1. Brackets used
    2. Light bar
    3. Actual dimensions

    1. CaliRaisedLED hidden bumper brackets
    2. Amazon 32" amber light bar
    3. 31.1"

Reason I'm asking is that I just purchased some CaliRaisedLED hidden light bar brackets which is to fit 32" light bars. Their 32" DUAL ROW light bar fits perfectly (not the one I have), but I did buy an Amber 32" light bar from Amazon.

I was trying to install it yesterday and it seemed that the distance on both sides needed different hardware. I didn't get exact measurements, but it seemed to obviously be .5" on each side (due to it being a 31.1" light bar).

Did anyone else have a fitting issue with other brackets/light bars?

I ended up going to my local HD and bought M6-1.0x30mm and 40mm to see if it'll reach.

I'm using the rigid bar mounts to hold my 32" rough country bar and it was a perfect fit. Probably not ideal but spacers and longer screws would work for you.

I had the same issue with some Amazon bumper brackets and a cheap light bar. Seems there are more in the 30-31” range than a full 32”. I ended up swapping that out for a 42” Diode Dynamics kit.

Yeah, I picked up longer screws... you think I'd be able to do it without spacers? or would the spacers be better than a split washer/nut tightened onto the end of the lightbar?

Yeah I agree, closer to 31" when stated 32"... lol, I wanted the lower hidden grille light bar, so at $90, that was a steal.

I had to use longer hardware and then torque the hell out of the bolts, bending the brackets inward a decent amount. Not sure if that’s possible with the CR brackets, since I think those use two mount points, right? You’ll probably have to use spacers.

The CaliRaisedLED has single mounting point on each side so I think spacers might be needed.

I just want to make sure that the light bar isn’t going to move hence why I came up with the idea of:

Light bar - washer - split washer - nut - screw - bracket

Not sure if that’s confusing, but I’ll try to get a photo of what I’m talking about later.

If I were to get spacers, would I be looking at rubber spacers?

You're looking at 1/4" on each side so it's not to crazy but I would just for the piece of mind that everything is tightened down.

How do you like the Diode Dynamics Stealth?
I already ordered their fog light kit, and I have the Stealth 42" in my cart, but was curious between it or more SS3's or SS5's.

Yeah, I need the piece of mind that it's fully tightened to the bracket or at least tightened to where it won't move due to vibration. Could always threadlock it too... lol.

It's awesome. Real friggin' bright. We were out at Sycamore Creek a few weeks ago and here's a shot of the output down the length of the Upper Sycamore wash area:

It doesn't look far, but that's probably about 1000 feet down where you see the hill start and it could throw further. Not sure where you're shopping, but hit up @memario1214 and he can pick your brain and help you find the right lights.

Did you go with the driving lights, flood, or combo? They look great!

That's the white combo - I've added amber wide lenses to the outside since, so it's got some good dust visibility at the edges now with the same pattern.

    @TRDFerguson

Look who made it work out

Used split washers and a nut to secure the M6 bolt… we’ll report back in a few days of driving and see if it’ll work out.

So far, it hasn’t budged. But www.extremeterrain.com sells DDSS30 brackets, so I’m thinking of selling my CaliRaisedLED brackets and switching it out with the Diode Dynamics… Pretty sure it’s more true to 30 than the CaliRaisedLED which are more true to their 32.

So... Funny thing... I actually like the CR brackets better than DD's as they have multiple mounting points and are a little sturdier. Of course I can get you a set if you definitely want to try them though!

@pvn.beluga what do you not like about your current setup? Does that gap bother you? If you're getting rock solid stability out of it you've already solved one of the major light bar bracket issues out there which is vibration. I would get rid of the stacked small washer situation and find some billet aluminum spacers or something similar to clean it all up visually. Then probably some shorter side bolts. I just don't want to sell you something that I am not 100% confident that you'll be happy with.

Hey @memario1214! I'm guessing it's just the fitment of where I want the lightbar closer to the bracket for a more secured set up. However, you're right about finding a spacer which I should be looking now.

I'm running 40mm for the bolts, might have to look for 35mm.

Bingo. Find shorter bolts and then some spacers to fill the gaps. I personally feel that you'll be happier since the baseline brackets are more supportive. If you think about it... Even if the bracket tabs themselves were closer to the bar the weight distribution process doesn't change.
