Who's got dogs? Post your pup!

I didn't get pics but both my Goldens were trying to console me during the ball game, whether my excitement was good or bad. They REALLY don't like a lot of excitement!

 

I feel your pain

 

Sounds similar to the issues my dog had. Garbage gut was the common term and the vet said no more people food, especially no pork, no bones because the marrow can cause it, and avoid anything fatty or greasy. She got boiled chicken and rice for a day, then canned dog food that was basically the same thing for a week.

Now she's on her Science Diet and happy as can be. Only relapses were when somebody thought they knew better than the vet and fed her people food anyway. Old people who "know better" are a PITA.

We had a similar issue last year with our little dog, maybe a little smaller than yours was having issues. Vomiting over and over, Emergency vet, x-rays. blah, blah, she had been eating the stuffing out of here toys and some of her pillows. She's much better but we have to watch her when she plays with her toys, she seems to not do it anymore though so wonder if she broke the habit or realized it wasn't good for her? Also tried the non stuffing toys and she doesn't care for them...

 

They change so quickly... less than 60 days...

Ours was already on Hills Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin and the only human food he would get was the occasional piece of carrot or chicken and whatever our daughter dropped that he could get to faster than I could. Vet put him on some Royal Canin wet food that's lower fat content and easily digestible so we'll try that and see how he does.

 

He's eaten a lot of things he shouldn't, though he seems to have grown out of that: rocks, socks, two pairs of my wife's underwear, one of his toys, sticks... We still have to watch him with toy stuffing and cardboard boxes.

 

Sounds like a solid plan. Hope he feels better soon.

One of my pups ate part of my jeans waist band last week, got her nose in the draw and dragged them out!

Pup got spayed today. She’s having a rough night now.

 

Yup. Poor things don't understand and feel awful. Good thing they live in the moment and don't hold a grudge!

 

Could be worse. We got ours neutered two days before his first Christmas!

From pup to about 2? He is 8 or 9? now and 90lbs.
