Is there any way to get the ride to be more comfortable?

The ride doesn’t bother me but when my passenger(this woman) gets in my truck complains about the harshness of my ride compare to her “Mercedes e class” my friends don’t care but I love this woman though so it’s a loss for me and I’m not getting rid of the truck. I love my 2012 tundra rock warrior CM but any way to get it to ride a little softer? I have Kelly 285/70r17 so they are a little more for off-road then street/highway use tires.

Good luck. Nothing will make the Tundra ride anywhere close to an e class merc.

My wife is 6'2". Her Lexus drive much smoother than the Tundra, and gets great mileage.

So when we are doing a 1300 mile (each way) trip with no toys (i.e. no towing) which vehicle do we take....the vehicle that gets the worst gas mileage of all...the Tundra.

Now this is her choice mind you, I would take the Lexus. She says there is so much more room than n the Tundra versus any other vehicle we have been in (even the 2500HD), that the leg room trumps everything else.

This ^^^ is Mrs. McGov too (though a Highlander vs. Lexus). And Mr. McGov. enjoys watching her DD's bounce over the bumps. :hattip:

Then the best thing you can do is keep the suspension stock with P rated 17" or 18" tires with non AT like tread. Anything else you do will make the road be felt more.

I am guessing she wants the flying or floating couch feel.

She is very picky lol but I still love her to death. I’m guessing I’m going to have to let go of the LT tires. I do go mudding from time to time, hopefully P tires will be okay.

If she's stressing or complaining about the comfort of a truck, then she has bigger issues IMO.

Edit: OP @helpmeout , not intended to do any harm. Just pointing out that life is too short to be hung up on simple things. For example, the customer and employee dispute that just happened and someone was killed over an argument about a fake $20 bill.

get some king's or Fox's with highly adjustable valving and remote revivors and some sort of air bag helper for the rear and give it just enough air to take some load off the leaf's and act as a damper. could go as far as a complete long travel suspension. slap some General Grabbers size 35 or 37s on with either 17 or 18s and run 32 psi.

The 2022 Tundra has coil springs all around, so you could just buy a new truck.

I dunno. The tundra is not nearly as comfortable as 4Runner. But, my Tundra is a pretty well balanced ride with the Eibach kit.

Seems way easier to drive her car. Probably gets better mileage too.

I just towed a buddy of mine on Friday out of an icy incline and he had a f150 granted it wasn’t 4wd but still.

    None....
Drive the "Mercedes e class" over a curb and as it scrapes say I wish it sat higher so it wouldn't botton out. Then take it out into some mud after it's stuck, say you wish it did better off road like a truck.

If she's complaining about the ride of a Tundra, you better brace yourself. Seriously, who bitches about that? One of THE best riding pickups available!

I had a 19 TRD Sport 4x4 and was a hard ride,,, I traded it for the 21 SR5 TSS and the ride on the 21 is way better. So,,, if you could get the number for those shocks it would be much better,,, I also put Mechlin street tires on it in the 20 inch because the 20s is what it came with.
