    Good afternoon,

I have some questions about lift kits as this is my first truck. 2012 DC 4x4 Flex. I know the shocks are going bad as evidenced by tire wear and vibrations resulting from the wear. Are there certain brands that I should stay away and avoid (Obviously Ebay specials and the like)? What are good quality companies? I am waiting till I get back from deployment to replace the shocks and lift the truck no more than 3 inches. I don't think the truck has a kit on it currently but could be wrong, no labels or logos. I will post pictures when I can. Trying to stay under 2k, but I can save if needed. Thanks in advance for your time and patience!

check out the suspension forum here, tons of thread about what folks have installed with reviews and pics. Take the time to look over some of them, you will be glad you did.

    lower cost- 5100s and 6112
mid cost- Eibach pro truck 2.0, Dobinsons, Old Man Emu, toytec lifts
higher cost- falcon and many others, you can even swap in the stock TRD Pro front suspension.

    At minimum 5100s.

    Next step 6112,

Then if your looking to invest more that opens up the discussion of digressive vs progressive.

Keep in mind up to about 2.5" UCAs wont be necessary. Past that you'll probably need a set to get happy alignment #s. Factor in another 450 - 700 for arms.
