Just bought 2004 DC Tundra from my brother trading it in. Parts?

    Newbie. First post. 2004 DC 4.7 liter and its got 307,000 miles. So heater wasn't working. Flushed coolant system, new thermostat and gasket. That is fixed and temps good. I purchased new denso iridium plugs, msd coil packs(its running strong will keep current ones as replacements on truck)I will put them in when they arrive. Aisin waterpump and timing belt kit with tensioner and pulley, serpentine belt, an aftermarket 3 row aluminum radiator and hoses, toyota oem thermostat, 3 gallons pink 50/50 Toyota coolant. Going have my mechanic install them in few paychecks. I printed off transmision flush diy off this site and will flush tranny with synthetic mobil one. Will get differential and transfer case fluid changed as well. Shocks or struts seem tight. I will inspect, but brakes working fine and no noise or shuddering.

    Any suggestions on differential fluids and transfer case fluid to use?
    Also is there anything else I need to look at or do? Trucks sharp and runs strong. I plan on keeping the truck until I die and want to do whatever preventative maintenance that takes. Thank you for your time for any responses in advnce.

    If you have some basic tools and wrenching knowledge with the help of YouTube you could tackle those jobs yourself instead of paying someone to do it. Just do some research ahead of time.

    Looks like you are checking all the right things and headed down a good path.

    Your right I could. But on some jobs I would rather just drop off Patrick at the shop and not F%$k with it. I have enough toys and bikes etc to keep me busy on top of working 7 days a week. Plus its only every 90 k and its something I want done right as its way more to replace the valves etc if I do it wrong. I will do the transmission flush, plugs, differential fluid and transfer case fluid myself. Im focused on painting our Honda 400EX quad and going riding our new to us snowmobile and exploring MT. Hood and wrenching instead of driving the truck is no fun when your an old fart like me anymore.

    I made assumption ("newbie") you weren't doing the work yourself out of inexperience, sounds like you know what you want to do or leave for your mechanic, I totally get that. I do most everything myself but have had lots of instances where I wished I had just paid someone else to do it (like replacing rear sequoia shocks last weekend in 12 degree weather).

    My sequoia is also new to me and higher mileage (220k), figuring out what all to do to keep her going takes some thinking, considering time and money of course.

    You can at least check.

    You should also create an account and let them know you have the truck so they can contact you in case of recalls, AND you can see any records of maintenance at the dealership. But generally speaking, you should find LSD listed in the options, like you see here on mine:
