    Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone has the same issue as me I have had wildpeak at3w's installed on my first gen tundra for about two years but every rain season I struggle to get traction of the line at green lights. I have to baby the throttle to get going and once I do i'm okay with minor sliding on turns if I initiate the turn too quick. Even after adding roughly 350 lbs of weight over the bed with my rtt setup the issue still persists. These tires are supposed to handle the rain really good so i'm not sure why this is going on or if other people have similar experiences, these tires do great the rest of the year and perform well off road with great life but at this point I am looking into other options as I look into moving to the PNW. I appreciate any feedback!

What pressure are you running? Something sounds funky. Not saying it's not the tires, but I've never had any issue with my 2nd gen

What air pressure are you running? Over-inflating to the max spec on the sidewall is one way to loose traction.

    Doh! ^^ what he said.

I’m at 35 psi on the street and only air down to 30 psi on trails since I don’t have a way to air up yet

I run 275/70-18 E load Wildpeaks and have no traction issues. What size and load rating are you running?

What're you targeting to get to change that? This is on my list of things to get but I truthfully haven't started looking into them yet.

then I have no idea on your traction issues. Mine have been fine and grippy in all conditions, wet, snow, towing, highway. They have been great tires, done everything I have needed them to.

I had the same issue only with BFG KO2's. Even with brand new tires, wet traction was poor and ice traction was even worse. Toyo at3's and traction issues are an afterthought

Just wondering, what country of manufacturing is your Wildpeaks? Should be on the sidewall. Even though there shouldn't be, I'm wondering if there is a difference in some people having issues, and some not?

    How old are they,
(Manu date) I’ve had tires harden up just being old or weathered. That being said my Falkens were ok in the rain, not spectacular. My Revo’s were way better and my Toyo’s are good as well. But nothing in a rated snow tire we’re excellent in rain in my experience.

May be able to get the siped at Schwabbys and also air down to door sticker pressure.

Also curious about the country of origin as @Puppypappa mentioned.
