I ordered these Rigid sae amber fog lights on black friday 2020, the finally arrived in January 2021. Immediately after install they started developing condensation inside the casing. I filed a warranty claim with rigid, including uploading pictures and still haven’t heard anything back from them. Very disappointed considering they are ~$500 fog light. This will definitely be the last lights I order from Rigid... If I ever get these warrantied I will probably sell replacements and get some Baja Design or someone with better quality control and customer service

I have several Rigid lights on my truck that work great and I've noticed my exact same fogs have started to have this issue... sucks for how much they cost. I have yet to email Rigid but this thread doesn't give me much inspiration.

If you read the fine print on their warranty page it says this is normal, hence they won’t warranty it. BULLSHIT, fog inside the lense is not normal, no other light I’ve ever owned had this problem, including a pair of rigid duallies, as well as an opt7 light bar I bought on Amazon. I’m stuck now but Rigid will never get any business from me again and I hope others follow suit, completely unacceptable for a $500+ pair of lights.

Man thats wild... its interesting that their other lights dont seem to have the same problem. I recall when I opened these up that they felt "cheaper" than my other Rigid lights... I guess we know why.

I've never had issues with my Rigids or needed their customer service.

I have a couple of Baja Designs lights.
Never had a problem but did contact their customer service inquiring about a different lens.
Instead of selling me the lens I wanted (for currently owned lights), they just sent it to me..
It was above and beyond my expectations.

I had a similar problem on a set of "black" OEM fogs. Luckily, I bought from McGeorge and they took them back no questions asked. These were made in Mexico and not Japan, but if that made any difference IDK.
I changed to the TRD Pro Rigids and no problems so far... mounting bezel sucks though and I had to use cable ties to hold firmly in place:

I think the clear part is just a lens cover, the yellow part is the actual lens. See if running the fogs for a bit burns out the condensation.

An easy fix is to put silica packets inside of the housing. Not optimal, and yes for a product that is as pricey as Rigid this shouldn’t be needed. But it will fix the problem.
