I did jack shit today and it felt great. Normally I just do diddly squat, so it was quite the difference. I played way too much Forza but I was able to get a new car. Completely worth it.

They had diesels way long time ago, and in European countries I believe. But I’d have to google that.

    Awesome.

If I had F U money, I would buy a ultra low mileage 2018 Cummins with the G56 and garage it for 25 years. That thing would be worth some:spending:

I know. I am in shock that they quit the manual. So many pussies can’t handle the stick. It’s stupid.

That Mercedes transmission is the best thing that has happened to the Cummins since they started putting them in the Dodge. Combine it with the South Bend Dual Disk clutch, and ain’t nothing stopping you.

Those NV4500’s were crap. I once took out my input shaft and two sync row gears at once, at the border of Canada and the US, headed north, with a load of horses. Luckily I have a friend in Abbotsford, stayed there while the truck was repaired.

dont they still make some in manual. That’d be worth a fortune in 25 years.

Oh it is totally. I found a way around it though the farm lands and side roads to my friends, and straight to the border.

But I’m intrigued… how do you know?

I’ve been passing through there for the last 16 years. Usually just to visit my friend. And it’s the easy route straight to the Cassiar.
Have not been there in a few years, and am not complaining at all

Quite a bit. The Okanagan is BC's playground. The Woman is from that area too.

It's been going downhill since I was a kid in the 90's. It took a real nosedive back in 2010 or so and just keeps on going down.

Just to comment on this there are a few different versions depending on year. Using old nomenclature, the 2nd Gen CM/DC and the 3rd Gen DC are the same front and rear just different for left or right side. For some reason Toyota decided to make the 3rd Gen DC door handles completely different in the rear and even made them non-symmetrical so a left side won't fit the right ... genius! That design "improvement" meant I had to source the actual door handle insert cups from Toyota since I didn't have access to a 3rd Gen DC and then do my R&D from there. Not a big deal but did take a lot of work to make them actually fit with samples being shipped to folks here on my own dime across the country for testing (not to mention there are some variations in production between door handle insert batches from Toyota so this is more of an art than a science).

Anyway at some point last year I did reach out to @ToyoMafia about doing something together but he was super busy making us really cool stuff (which I also bought a bunch of since it's awesome stuff!). Maybe this will be a thing in the future and personally I'd love to do it if we both have the time. It would be interesting to know from the community that if we did do a collab what would you be interested in? Toyomafia door handle & cup holder inserts are the obvious ones but anything else?

Door handles, cup holders, that useless storage thingy on the passenger side of the center console and maybe something to replace the center dash mat.

If you're talking about the long channel on the passenger side of the console I can't help as it's too long for my cutter. Maybe at some point I could look into not being lazy and relying on technology and making something that fits there the old fashioned way but there would have to be a loto of interest (and this spot would just be leather not engraved).

Center dash mat below the windshield I actually have already designed just not brought to market. The only one out there (since he requested it) is on my former neighbors 2017 Platinum Tundra and he's been loving it so this is definitely something I could do if there's interest.
