So I called my local dealer to inquire on the black chrome exhaust tip. They said it would be ordered and arrive the next day and it would be $79.00. I went to their parts site after they ordered it and it was $62.00. I printed it out and price matched it when I picked it up. He asked where I got that price and I said right from your site. I don't know if all dealers have their parts priced on their site but definitely look before you buy your parts.

I’ve done this using another Toyota dealerships online price vs my local dealer. I asked them if they would price match and they did. McGeorge Toyota is my go to. Their prices are more often than not cheaper than sparks.

Solid advice. I'm not a big fan of my local dealer anyway, so I try to go elsewhere for OEM stuff whenever possible. Sparks, mostly.

I have done that as well, but this is an issue of the parts guy saying $79 on the phone and their site showing it at $62.00.

    It's good
I did some calling around a while back. Dealer phone prices more than same dealer online prices. Some dealers price match some don't. You have to shop the internet. Use the same toyota parts locator, just shop different dealers. The price difference can be around 40%.

My local dealer, Frontier Toyota also has a parts page that is much cheaper than if you call in the order. I buy parts from it quite often. I've used Sparks and the other dealer on here.
