I remember when you could buy real M80s and cherry bombs in Chinatown on the outskirts of the combat zone in Boston when I was a kid. Blowing up a toilet was almost a rite of passage as a delinquent. :notsure:

Saw this gem on the drive though a town nearby. Hard to tell from the pic but it looked like the bed was racked hard from left to right.

located and ordered the correct terminals for my radio harness rebuild. and integration of the new amp. SO truck will be getting the headers, full exhaust, amp installed, power steering lines installed, and a few other little odds and ends installed this winter... goal with the radio harness it minimize the bulk behind the radio. also hopefully fix the backup camera situation. worst comes to worst i have a full body harness with a factory backup camera i can get the wires out of can integrate a stock camera into.

First thought was "this must be something you picked up in the yard", but I'm wondering after the other stuff rolled out. Symptoms sounded like when I had Scarlet Fever as a teen. Like strep with a full body rash. F'ing sucked. Docs couldn't believe I'd gotten it. Guess it's weird for anyone older than 10 or something? Dunno.

Happened here days before we went to see my parents in southern AL for Christmas. Damn brewery I'm doing low voltage work in, an owner and her son both had colds the day I was there fixing their audio wiring and adding a mic/PA. They took two at-home tests in the days before and both were neg, so I felt OK about it all, then next day, 18 hours after my lengthy face-to-face with her showing usage, both tested positive. I was supposed to head to AL 4 days later for Christmas w/the folks.

Lethargy, brain fog, feeling like bad sinus infection. 2/3 of those I can attrib to an autoimmune issue I've got, but it was bad timing. Waited three days and over the next 4, two at-home tests neg, then the whole family brainjabbed, also neg, one more at-home test was inconclusive, so took one more, neg. At least 20 friends and family members caught this last batch. All this to say: Get on the mend. You're young and not horribly unhealthy, you'll be alright.

This is exactly why I stopped getting impassable kidney stones in my late 20s. Went away completely when I started drinking beer. Didn't put the two events together until one night I was three or four beers in and heard a PLINK in the bowl while breaking the seal.

This was a regular thing for us while I was living in Gainesville FL a couple decades back, but ours was on 4th of July. Still shocked nobody ever called the cops on us. In hindsight, it was stupid as hell, but man was it the highlight of my summer every year.

Are you kidding me? This is freaking classic new years day fare. Beans and greens! If you're not a yankee or from Cali, your parents must've been?

It's all good either way. And @Sirfive those look like some damn tasty peas!

Well, I'm positive for the BIG C. Called new HR to let them know, and check in on their policies. They are confirming, but as it stands right now...

As long as no symptoms for 24 hours then I can return to work... crazy.

No paid time off in the state of KY from any employer anymore. Now it's lack of work or use your vacation for pay.

This is the time being a PLC programmer working from home would work in your favor.

Hopefully, no issues returning to work.

I'm awaiting my results also, should be back any time now. Been feeling crappy since the day after we got back from Orlando on the 29th not sure if it's from sickness or the wonky weather changes.
