I just installed the morimoto xb headlights in my 2013 dc rw. They are amazing! I also purchased the xb fog lights. I installed the drivers side fog and it will not work. Checked and switched polarity and nothing. Meanwhile, the stock passenger side fog light worked. Got tired of messing with it and just left the stock fogs in. Do I need a resistor for the led fogs?? I'm a bit lost on this one. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You may want to switch the left for the right to make sure they both actually work. You said you switched the polarity, did they come with a harness?

My Morimoto headlights and fog lights went in and worked fine without a resistor. I had a friend put them in for me. I just turned on the lights to test them, he did all of the wiring. I remember that one of my fogs did not come on. He checked his wiring and that was the problem. Only need a resistor if you get AlphaRex tail lights and hook up the Morimoto sequential flash feature. I have the same head and fogs as you and the AplhaRex tail lights without a resistor and I do not have hyperflash. But we did not hook up that feature for the headlights to have the sequential flash.
So check your wiring on the new lights. That should be where the problem is.

I will give it another go and see what happens. Thank you both!

When I installed my foglights from Morimoto, there was corrosion on my factory harness that was affecting the lights. I would either try to clean them up or splice in the harness that Morimoto provides after trying the "faulty" light in the passenger side

Does Morimoto send the wiring directions too?

Leds either work or they don’t. You don’t need resistors for your application. Try flipping the working light to the non working side. If it doesn’t work, you can pin point you have a wiring issue. Most likely there is corrosion in the plug.

I switched them and nothing. Put the stock fogs back in and those work as they should.

Sounds like you got a defective unit. Return them, get a credit and pick up a set of Diode Dynamic SS3s. They morimotos actually have less output than stock.

Now that I see that you mentioned the XB Fogs, I actually have the SS3's disregard my response
