Driving a manual is a skill. Veganism is not. Not sure it’s something to brag about, and it’s becoming ever less important in the world, but still a handy skill.

So, I took a drive to the closest dealer that had one in stock, a SR5 TRD OR CC 5.5 4x4. I liked it a lot and my wife liked it too. I'm going to buy, just a question of when the config I want comes available. PXL_20211230_193517299.jpg

This was my first pass at this. No representations made for absolute accuracy, just what the old google machine turned up. I think I am comparing it to the correct competing trims, but am not that familiar with others.
Tow Hooks aside......(sorry can't resist) I would say it compares reasonable well with current competitors on a factory specification basis.
Some minor modifications combined with Toyota's reliability/durability advantage might still prove the Tundra as the best current option full size half ton to take you into (and bring you back out of) the bush.

Saw a Limited at local dealer today... still covered in ice and snow but I have to say the front grill doesn't look nearly as large and gaping as the pictures do.

Way nicer front end look than I was expecting.

35" spare must fit underbed in the stock location, I haven't seen confirmation for that but every 35" lift I've seen does not have an exterior spare mount.

Yes, Tacomas have them. You don't want four inches of water in the bed front.

This color combo looks pretty good. The front chrome stash blends better with it in that configuration. My biggest gripe with that grille is in 3yrs time all that black plastic is going to look terrible and its a huge area to have be an eyesore.

Forgot to mention my local dealer has like 10 of these 22's if anyone is looking for one on the east coast.

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of the all black grilles, TRD or otherwise. The limited’s grille is more of a dark pearly grey from what I saw on the lot, but it lacks any interesting detail. I have a platinum incoming and I really like th grille design, especially with it being a darker chrome. I know there are many who don’t prefer it, but I think it looks pretty sweet.
Either way, it’s just a matter of time until aftermarket grilles will flood the market.

That is the entirety of my conversations with you and then you PM me with this:

" I don’t put up with shit from people like you."

You need to step back a bit and relax.

You (and others) were throwing haymakers at the dude earlier. What's he supposed to do with that, smile? Nobody would of said that to his face and expect a pleasant response.
