I'm looking at swapping the headlights on my 2017 Limited. I have narrowed it down to either the Alpharex Luxx or the 2019+ TRD Pro. I like the look of both and can get them to my house for about the same cost. My conundrum is that the TRD are supposed to be better lights, but significantly more difficult to install. The TRD would require wires back through the firewall other modifications, where the Alpharex are plug and play into my truck. I'm leaning toward the Alpharex because of this, but if the TRD are that significantly better, it may be worth the trouble. What are everyone's thoughts?

I have the trd ones with the ihacker harness. I didnt want to run through the firewall and splice into wires so my drl are on high all the time. I would also suggest the morimoto gen 2 version. I might end up switching mine out.

I'm not a fan of having the DRL on high at night. Also, the Morimoto are significantly more expensive and out of my budget. Thanks though!

You can also run the trd ones without the drl but it sounds like the alpha rex is the one for you.

Go OEM. Might be a little more to install but they are a higher output, better quality, better pattern spread and cut off line. second would be morimoto g2

alphaRex has been tested as garbage.

In case anyone was wondering, I just ordered the TRD Pro headlights from Lewis Toyota (cheapest and free shipping). I'm on the waitlist for the @iHacker harness as well. I'll keep you updated.
