    I think 2017 and 2018 were the unicorns;

    2017 if you don’t want pre collision and dynamic cruise.

    2018 if you do want them.

    Both years offered the available desirable traits of big gas tanks, 5.7 non flex V8, and still had the trans cooler.

    This. As much as I pride myself on being an attentive driver, the nannies have deterred a bad outcome twice. I'd buy one with the added tech and add a trans cooler if it's important to you.
