I have an opportunity to trade my stock 2016 TRD suspension with 50k miles for a nearly new Tuff Country 2.5 lift. Haven't been able to find a lot of reviews or information on this lift. Anybody have some experience or knowledge of this kit? It is a full kit with UCAs. Trying to figure out if this is something I want to do. I like the look of a moderately lifted truck. Don't want anything to tall. I'm a short guy and don't want to look like Lord Farquad climbing out of the truck.

Wow! Really? Nobody running this lift? Does that mean it's a bad option?

Here's the best I can do. I had a 91 suburban (I know way diff vehicle platform). I started by going cheap with a rough country lift kit and the ride was similar to a haywagon and the shocks made it 6 months before they blew out and leaked. Everyone in the know of square bodies said use Tuff Country if you have to buy off the shelf. The ride was perfect and comfortable and all the components lined up without any jerry rigging. I had it about 5 years with the Tuff Country lift in it and nothing every broke or wore out.

Well that's something I guess. I'm surprised that there isn't very much information out there about this lift. I haven't been able to find a review about it anywhere. Just a bunch of places selling it.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
On 4Runner forums, they are listed as bottom of the line, ok yet not what true off-road enthusiasts want on their vehicles.

Have you thought of a body lift? Less impact to the center of gravity, so less leaning and no harm to suspension. Just a thought...
