Open garage doors are one of the things that keeps me up at night. I’ve got an inept mother in law that lived outside of normal society for to long, and refuses to learn simple 4 digit passwords for the door; yet she can for her phone…….

Same here on open garage doors, more for critters than people in my area.

 

My neighbor text me one day while I was at work saying my garage was wide open……… granny just left the house with the boys for school. So I always make a big deal about it to my mom and she retorts, I’m not retarted, I know how to close a door!!!! Last week she came to drop off the boys and was inside BSing for half hour or so, go to walk her out and say goodbye…….. the garage had been open the entire time!!! No wonder my son has some killer evil eyes and eye brows when he’s pissed!!!

 

I'm paranoid about my garage door too. A camera in the garage is next on my list.

 

I don’t have a “shop” or much free space at all, so a lot of coin is nestled in every cranny of my single car carport that I converted, garage door was second after rolling shutters on the side wall, when I bought the place.
I really need to get rid of, or chop down my welding table,

I have the doorbell and another in the garage, and it's a comfort. I waited a little late - some POS broke out a window on my 06 Tundra and got in the garage via the clicker - but at least it's there now. Also have a Chamberlain garage door with a smart interface that sends an alert to my phone when it's opened, and can be opened or shut remotely. I have more criminals than mice around me - even in a 'good part of town'.

 

Mrs. Bandito modeled for Virginia Slims back in the day. I guess she had a billboard in Dallas - her first husbands family (he passed away from Huntingtons Disease) told me about it... Apparently she didn't tell anybody (she was visiting her sister who modeled and was on the first squad (or second) of the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and she talked her into it) - her future husbands family was driving through the city and saw her up on a billboard.

She gets mad when I say "You've Come a Long Way, Baby."

That’s what I always worry about too, I need to quit being a lazy POS and program the home link that Toyota provided in the truck, instead of the clicker in the arm rest

Home Link works (at least used to) w/o the ignition being on, which would make it accessible to the bad guy. Good to check whether it still does before programming it. My door doesn't work with it, so I take the clicker in when I'm getting out of the truck for the last time each day.

 

Yes, and yes. Apparently she didn't tell anybody because she was 15 (her first husband was her first boyfriend) so that would have made me 5. Which also means I may have found the ad and hid it under my bed...

EDIT: I forgot to add, they lied about her age. Her sister (the Cowboys Cheerleader) was a bit of an influence on her.

Might have to look into that. Seasonal is a good question, we have some local strawberry and peach brews here that are seasonal.
