Sway bar on lifted rear

I want to put a1inch leveling block on the rear of my 2019 crewmax but am also interested in adding the trd rear sway bar. Can I do both or do I need longer links for the bar?

 

You can do both. I have a 2 inch lift in the rear of mine without any issues. Make sure you replace the Ubolts when you put the blocks in.

I ran the TRD sway bar with a 1" block no issues. Greatly improves cornering stability.

 

My truck already had the TRD rear sway bar when I bought it as the 2nd owner.
I added Coachbuilder +3 shackles for 1.75in rear lift.
All I had to do was loosen and reposition the sway bar a bit.

No worries at this height, not sure how high you can go without issues though.

No idea how useful the sway bar really is since I have always had it.
But people say it makes a big difference and it is red and looks cool with my TRD dual exhaust so

I am now considering adding a 1inch block to the rear lift to bring back some of the factory rack in hopes of bringing back some of my lost fuel mileage.
I have 3in front lift and 1.75in rear lift.
I believe that leaves me with 1.25 total rake from the factory 3in rake.

Anyone ever done that, or know if it will help at all?

11.5 mpg around town is some bs and keeping me from going to even bigger tires and wheels later.
I fear 35x12.50R20's with new wheels will take me into single digits fuel mileage and I can't bring myself to do that

 

35x12.5x20 will be around 11 at least mine is. I only get 9 pulling my boat.

 

TRD RSB looks puny, IMO. Much prefer the Hellwig, which is quite beefier. Is also available with longer end links for lifted rear ends.

Now that looks GOOD! How much was it to have it powdercoated and was it a hassle? Also, I wonder if maybe the Hellwig is a bit stiffer than the TRD?

 

Thanks it was $75. I was able to push out the new bushings with hand tools and brought just the 3 bars in for PC. Easy to push the bushings back in by hand as well.

The hellwig has 3 different holes to mount the end links to for more “stiffness”. At over $500 I couldn’t bring myself to spring for it.
