I installed 5160’s on the rear of my 2020 SR5 CM. I am very happy with the ride improvement. I plan on adding 6112’s to the front. I understand that preloading the coil overs affects ride quality, with that said here’s my question. Does it make sense to install 6112’s at lowest setting, then add 2-1/2" spacer to level. From what I’ve gathered here, that would improve ride and achieve level. My only off road is driving on beach. Other then that she’s a pavement princess. I’m mainly doing this for ride quality. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

That does not make sense. You’d be stacking lifts. Just set the 6112s to 1.9”. Spacer lifts don’t necessarily ride better than other types of lifts.

Why waste your money on the 6112s just to put a spacer on top? They ride great at 1.9”. Preload isnt so much of an issue because the spring that comes with them is designed for the shock.
